To reach our target audience and raise awareness about our important work, we have hosted workshops in:
Schools
Our workshop engaged students in discussing the different forms of violence, masculinity, gender stereotypes, and gender equality. Through group activities, the students were encouraged to find healthy ways to express their emotions and to be respectful in how they interacted with each other.

Sports Clubs
We delivered a workshop at a Copenhagen Australian Football Club and created a safe space for the male players to openly discuss mental health issues. We put a spotlight on the state of men’s mental health in Denmark and globally, and taught some methods to healthily express their emotions.

We introduced the concept of the Man Box which describes the collective socialization of men. In the Man Box, men are expected to be strong, successful, powerful, dominating, fearless, in control, and emotionless.
Further, we discussed gender-based violence, drivers of domestic violence and recognizing the signs of violence whether it be physical, emotional or financial.
